Malayalam actor Chithra, who has additionally acted in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi movies, handed away on Saturday. She suffered a cardiac arrest at her dwelling in Chennai. She became 56. The actor’s funeral will steal self-discipline in Chennai at 4 pm this present day.

Chithra became a known name in the south film industry. She acted in nearly 100 movies in some unspecified time in the future of her profession and worked with the likes of Mohanlal and Prem Nazir in her debut film Attakalasham in 1983. She went on to superstar in other hit Malayalam dramas alongside side Adavitam, Nadodi, Ekalavyan, Devasuram, Commissioner, Aaram Thampuran and Ustad.

In 1982, the actor appeared in a Hindi film titled Razia and later became a section of the 1984 film Ek Nai Paheli. She bought the title of “Nallennai Chithra” after she did an oil trace business that bought neatly-liked among the loads.

The actor is survived by her husband Vijayaraghavan and daughter Mahalakshmi.
