A Craig Robinson show was left over the weekend after a guy sported a gun in the place.

The program took place on Saturday evening (July 16) at The Comedy Zone in Charlotte, North Carolina. Per Associated Press, it was suddenly given a halt when a man, later on determined as Omar McCombs, took out a gun and also informed the crowd– of approximately 50 individuals– to leave.

McCombs after that released the tool once everybody had actually left the location, at around 9pm EDT. Associated Press reports that no person was wounded, which the suspect was nabbed.

The incident happened prior to Robinson’s set up appearance, with the comedian taking to Instagram after being evacuated to a neighboring concert where pop band Big Time Rush were carrying out.

” There’s an active shooter at the club I went to so we needed to run over right here to this performance,” Robinson claims, adding: “Big Time Rush to the rescue.”

” I’m secure, I’m cool. It was just wild. I remained in the green room as well as they were like, ‘Everybody get out,'” he continued. “It was wild. It was a minute for certain.”

In a follow-up article, Robinson shared his appreciation towards Comedy Zone protection and personnel along with the Charlotte-Mecklenberg Police Department for their “swift action in nailing the shooter”.

” Thanks be to God no one was hurt. Please remain safe everybody.”
