In the fourth episode of ‘Gabby Duran & The Unsittables’, Season 2, titled ‘Ratita and the Ultras’ Gabby treats herself to a shiny pair of platinum ultras. She wears them to school and calls herself the “Queen of Havensburg.” When one of her classmates mocks her, Gabby unleashes its power, knocking her down, convincing her that the shoes are indeed powerful. Gabby continues to bask in its glory as the others at school cheer her on.
Moments later, she wakes up realizing that it was a dream. There is no way she can afford those shoes for $500. However, she visits an alien pawnshop hoping to give away human goods in exchange for a hefty amount of cash. Sure enough, the pawnbroker gives her $700, resulting in Gabby landing straight on cloud nine. The first thing she does is buy the shoes of her dreams.
However, as soon as Gabby returns home to flaunt her new pair of kicks, her mother rushes in, complaining about a missing heirloom named Ratita. Gabby immediately realizes that she has accidentally sold it off to the alien pawnbroker. Ridiculed by her own carelessness, she decides to get it back. Gabby resolves to educate herself on her family history from that moment onwards.
