In ‘Good Witch’ season 7 episode 7, titled ‘The Magic,’ Joy has disturbing dreams about the images on the vision board. Her second set of concerns is about Zoey, the woman she likes. As this couple is still testing the waters of their dynamic, Abigail and Donovan are shocked to learn that they don’t know trivial details about each other. Elsewhere, Martha is experiencing a mild pang of identity crisis and is planning to give away the keys to the kingdom. She chooses George as her temporary replacement. Sam receives an alarming call about his sister, Joanne, which prompts him to visit his childhood home.
Elsewhere, Abigail gets mixed feelings about her booth at the bridal expo. Zoey runs into Adam, which allows her to know more about Joy. At Sam’s childhood home, he reveals that he hasn’t performed magic after his grandfather’s death. The old man’s signature move was the lemon twist, where he takes a ring and makes it disappear only to find it in the middle of a lemon. At the expo, Cassie spots a hope chest right when Abigail and Joy discuss them at the expo. There are two women from the painting, Patience and Fortune, who are sitting on the hope chest.
The expo tricks Abigail into booking three weddings for its own profit. She prepares to go to Tuscany after discovering a letter in the hope chest that mentions the city. Stephanie bumps into Adam at the hospital after a minor injury afflicts her. In the end, Sam nails the lemon twist while Zoey sends flowers for Joy along with a photo of them, which the latter pins on the vision board. But at the back of the board, there is a saying that reads, “Beware the zenith of the red-haloed moon.”
