Heeramandi Web Series Cast: These 18 Actresses Will A Play Lead Roles In The Big-Budget Period-Drama Series – See Latest | Khatrimaza

Heeramandi Cast Update: Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’ web series cast includes a long and wide troupe of actresses. Sources close to the project have themselves confirmed this. As per reports, a total of 18 actresses will be included in the Heeramandi cast.

Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Nimrat Kaur, Juhi Chawla, Diana Penty have been confirmed. Juhi Chawla will have a  cameo-like role in it. The rest will play longer roles in the series. Manisha Koirala did ‘Khamoshi: The Musical’ in 1996 with Bhansali. 

‘Heeramandi’ is a period drama series

It is an eight-episode series. It will be directed by three directors in conjuncture. The first three and the last episode will be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself. The rest will be directed by his assistant directors- Vibhu Puri & Mitakshara Kumar.

Vibhu Puri had independently made ‘Hawaii Jada’ with Ayushmann & Mithun in2015. Though a commercial failure, the movie was critically acclaimed for stunning visuals. Mitakshara was an assistant on Kumar Bhansali’s ‘Padmavat’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’. 

If the reports are to be believed, then is expected that Heeramandi will be India’s most expensive web series to date, somewhere along the lines of Money Heist, Sacred Games, Vikings, etc.
