If Ajith and Vijay are films, then Alva is for him

Leading Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan’s latest release is ‘Bhimla Nayak’. Released last February, the film was well-received and garnered good reviews. This is a remake of the Malayalam movie “Ayyappan and Koshy”. He is currently starring in “Hari Hara Veera Mallu”. He will be joining Hari Shankar in the film after this.

Information about his next film has been released. Pawan Kalyan, who continues to star in remake films, has also approved another remake, which will be directed by a young director. Pawan joins hands with Saho fame director Sujith in the Telugu remake of the Tamil blockbuster film Theri starring Commander Vijay. The script work for the film is said to be in full swing.

TV Tanayya will produce this action entertainer. The Aadli-directed film Theri has already been dubbed and released in Telugu as Polisodu. The film stars Samantha and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. Pawan Kalyan’s close friend and popular director Tri Vikram will write the screenplay for the film.

In 2016, Theri wrote and directed Attlee and under the banner of V Creations, Kalaipuli S. Made by Tanu. The film stars Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The composer of the film is G.V. Prakash Kumar. The story revolves around a former police officer who learns how he saves his daughter from old enemies and how he avenges his wife’s death.

It was Aadli’s second film after Raja Rani, following which the duo co-starred in successive films as Mersal and Bikil. With a budget of ₹ 75 crore, the film grossed ₹ 150 crore and became the second highest grossing Tamil and South Indian film of 2016. It has also won three SIIMA Awards, the IIFA Festival Awards, two Ananda Vikatan Cinema Awards and several awards at the 64th Filmfare Awards. It is currently considered as one of the most popular films of Vijay.
