Jon Bernthal to return as Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again

Jon Bernthal has joined the cast of Disney+’s Daredevil: Born Again. Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, a tough anti-hero who takes revenge on criminals.

The Daredevil sequel will also see Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprise their roles as Daredevil and the Kingpin. In addition to them, the project stars Michael Gandolfini, Sandrine Holt and Margarita Levieva. The showrunners are Matt Korman and Chris Ord, who previously worked on the series Secret Connections .

The first season of the continuation of the superhero show will have 18 episodes, which will premiere in the spring of 2024.

You could see Bernthal in the role of Castle in the TV series The Punisher , which aired on Netflix from 2017 to 2019. For the first time, his hero was introduced in the second season of Daredevil.
