You may not be ready to say goodbye to the Pearsons just yet, however, the family reunion has come to an end and This Is Us has wrapped up filming for its final season. The cast of NBC’s hit family drama has been tearing up the memories on social media for the past few weeks. The actors completed their work on different days. Faithe Herman, aka Annie, daughter of Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson), shared photos and videos on her last day on set with onscreen sisters Eris Baker (Tess) and Lyric Ross (Deja) in late April.
Mandy Moore (Rebecca) shared a retro photo (taken on set by Brown) of her on-screen hugging husband Milo Ventimiglia on Thursday. “Finishing the way we started. Milo and I shot the first scenes of the pilot together and we finished our final scene side-by-side. I haven’t started to process the end of this journey yet and of course it will take time.” she said.

On Wednesday, Brown said, “Game. Set. Match! A door has closed. I’m looking forward to God’s next tank. Lotta tears. LOTTA laughs and lots of hugs! Enjoy the last few… I think we have something special. #ThisWasUs.” Wrote. Chris Sullivan (Toby) signed on Thursday and said goodbye to the show in his own interpretation: “We’ve completed my final scenes for #thisisus,” he wrote. “What an incredible 6 years these have been. Every ending is a new beginning…here’s a preview of what’s to come.” said.
This is Us debuted in 2016 and immediately became the top-rated broadcast network series, reinvigorating the family drama genre with its time-lapses and winding storytelling. The show has garnered 38 Emmy nominations and four wins to date. The show also features Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, and Jon Huertas. Series creator Dan Fogelman said of the final episode: “After so much ambition in the season, I think it will feel really simple.” said.
