Lata Mangeshkar’s brother admitted to Hirdainath hospital, son Adinath gives health information

Mumbai: Hirdainath Mangeshkar, younger brother of singer Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle, is not in good health. Musician Hirdainath has been admitted to hospital. Hirdainath’s son Adinath shared information about his health. Adinath said his health was better than before and he would be discharged from the hospital within 10 days. Addressing the Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards function, Adinath said that his father always gave welcome speeches on the occasion and gave information about the trust. He is unable to give a speech this year as he is currently in hospital. By the grace of God they will return home in next 8-10 days. His condition is now largely stable and his health is improving.

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present on the occasion and the first Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award has been given to him. In his thank-you speech, Modi also wished Hirdanath a speedy recovery. The Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award was organized under the Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Award Ceremony. April 24 is the 80th anniversary of Master Dinanath. The family and Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Smriti Pratishthan Charitable Trust said in a statement that they have decided to launch the award in honor of Lata Mangeshkar and Smriti, who passed away on February 6 at the age of 92.
