Only one failed film .. Rajini who was set aside for 8 years

Superstar Rajinikanth Nelson Dileepkumar is the first filmmaker to form a coalition 169. Recently, Rajini has been giving opportunities to new directors. Similarly, they keep the name of Rajini and give hit pictures.

Similarly, Rajini had the opportunity to direct his films like Gala, Kabbali and Betta to young directors. As well as these films became hits in Rajinikanth’s screen career. A director who gave Rajini two super hit films is yet to be invited.

KS Ravikumar directed the films Muthu and Padiyappa which were the epitome of Rajinikanth’s screen career. After the success of these two films, Rajini emerged as a mass hero in Tamil cinema. After that KS Ravikumar has directed films of many actors like Kamal Haasan, Sarathkumar, Ajith, Surya.

Many years later, KS Ravikumar and Rajini co-starred in the film Linga. Taken at a huge cost, the film sparks anticipation among fans. But the film was the worst failure of Rajinikanth’s career.

KS Ravikumar also wrote the story for the movie Kochadaiyan which was released in the same year. This movie didn’t go exactly right either. And the loss to Linga caused Rajini a huge problem from the producers. Thus, Rajini has not given a chance to KS Ravikumar for almost 8 years.

KS Ravikumar has also arranged a good story for Rajini. But Rajini continues to give opportunity to newcomer directors despite all that. Thus KS Ravikumar is currently focusing his attention on other films.
