Paul McCartney Joins Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi at New Jersey Tour Finale

Paul McCartney welcomed Bruce Springsteen on Thursday evening at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., for a performance of the Boss’ anthem “Glory Days” and the very early Beatles song “I Wan na Be Your Man.”
Springsteen appeared 29 tracks right into the show, the last on the North American leg of McCartney’s “Got Back” tour. He previously performed “I Saw Her Standing There” with McCartney at the latter’s Aug. 5, 2013, show at London’s Hyde Park.
Later, Jon Bon Jovi came onstage with a handful of balloons as well as offered a quick “Happy Birthday” serenade to McCartney, who transforms 80 on Saturday.
In charge returned to play guitar at the end of the show-closing “Abbey Road” assortment, trading solos with McCartney’s bandmates.
The efficiency marked the wrap-up of McCartney’s U.S. excursion. (See Variety’s testimonial of his May 13 performance at L.A.’s SoFi Stadium here.) Moving forward, McCartney headings the U.K.’s Glastonbury Festival on June 24, the only day left currently on his performance itinerary.
