Tokyo Revengers Episode 13 Spoilers

In episode 12, Takemichi arrives with Naoto at the apartment complex where Hinata lives but suddenly becomes reluctant about seeing her after all these years and leaves. Takemichi reflects that even though he has managed to save Hinata, his own life hasn’t changed. He is still a 20-something underachiever with a part-time job. At the building’s lobby, he collides with someone and realizes that it’s Hinata. She seems as awkward as him during their conversation. Takemichi, Hinata, and Naoto leave her apartment to go for a drive, but the awkwardness doesn’t recede.

After Naoto goes back to work, Takemichi and Hinata take a stroll together. She still wears the necklace he had given her and reveals that it was Takemichi who ended the relationship in this world. While visiting the toilet, Takemichi runs into an older Hanma, who remarks that he should be in the car. Feeling a deep sense of dread, Takemichi runs back to the car just as a minivan slams into it with Hinata still inside.

Takemichi discovers Atsushi was driving the car, and the latter asks him again to save everyone. He tries to get Hinata out as the minivan explodes and the fire starts to spread. Realizing that he can’t save her, he wraps his hands around her and tells her that he has always loved her and always will. Just before the fire engulfs the car, Hinata pushes him out. As the episode ends, Takemichi vows to become the leader of Toman. In episode 13, after Hinata’s funeral, Takemichi might tell Naoto that he wants to go back to the past. They might wonder what has happened to Draken, leading them to the discovery that he is currently on death row.
