The fifth episode of ‘sMothered’ season 3, titled ‘Losing My Best Friend,’ kicked off with Rykia struggling with her pregnancy as her mother, Karla, tried to make her feel better. Still, Rykia felt burdened by her mother’s forceful ways. Meanwhile, Cristina just wanted Carlo to accept her mother’s business advice and input before they finally open their pizzeria. Kathy brought in a bunch of quirky employee T-shirts for the inauguration party, which infuriated Carlo as he began to hurl abuses at the pair.
According to the mother-daughter pair, they have diligently toiled away at the restaurant for days while Carlo was busy tending to other concerns. The bluntness of the remark riled him up, and he yelled at them to leave. However, at the grand opening, Kathy found a customer impressed by their employee outfits which finally convinced Carlo to accept her help. Elsewhere, Dawn advised Cher to ramp up their sex life if that means they get to extend their vacation in Florida. But Jared put it all together and discovered what Cher had been up to.
In a fit of rage, Jared screamed at Cher, stating that they have no right to manipulate him this way, but the air settled after she apologized and promised never to do it again. Finally, Laura Leigh freaked out after discovering that her wife got inseminated without her knowledge. She tried to make her understand the importance of setting boundaries, and for a moment, Lauren seemed to have taken it all in. But during their next doctor’s appointment, Laura Leigh was astonished to see Lisa walk in as they waited for the check-up!
