Millie Bobby Brown’s heart just can’t take sad animal TikToks anymore.
The Stranger Things star was recently asked in a BuzzFeed interview to whom she sends the most memes and TikTok videos in her life. After Brown admitted that she doesn’t have the app, she said she was considering blocking her mom Kelly for sending too many sad, sad TikToks of dogs that are being rehabilitated.
Now I had to come forward and tell her, ‘I’m sorry, I can’t let any of this end,’ she explained. Because I went straight on stage for something really important and just saw a cat being hit by a car. So I thought, ‘This is not something I want to have sent to me again.’
Although her mother reminded her that tragic accidents happen to animals, Brown told her that doesn’t mean she has to watch them on her cell phone. I’m like, ‘Let’s not do this normally. This is not normal,’ she said. So now we have made a deal that so far only happy videos.
Brown is the proud owner of several animals, including eight dogs, four cats, three goats (Biggie Smalls, Slick Rick and Cardi B), a donkey, a pony, a sheep and a rabbit. She also once had two turtles, but has since donated them to a local classroom.
The nineteen-year-old author, who has launched her own pet collection, also works frequently with local animal shelters and last month helped care for a dog named Chloe so that she can get well again and be adopted by a loving family.
I wanted to give her the love and patience that she had not shown before, she wrote about the pet on Instagram . “This is Chloe’s story, and hers is one of many. Take care of your pets, love them with all your heart and open your door to some who need extra affection.”
