Subedar Joginder Singh, is a biopic of war hero who fought three major wars – The Second World War, the Indo-Pak war, and the Sino-Indian war 1962. Based on true story tells about the story of 21 soldiers of the brave Sikh Regiment who were commanded by Subedar Joginder Singh.

The film is directed by Simerjit Singh and written by National Award winner Raashid Rangrez, besides Gippy Grewal playing the lead role of Subedar Joginder Singh, the star cast consist of Harish Verma, Karamjit Anmol, Aditi Sharma as Subedar Joginder Singh’s wife- Gurdayal Kaur.

Story is about the War of 1962- The Sino-Indian, a war between Indian and China. On October 20, 1962 China had launched a massive attack on India, India was not ready, for the reason that Chinese would never attack. And this led to an unmatched situation of war between a platoon of 21 men from the first battalion of the Sikh Regiment against many Chinese enemies.

Subedar Joginder Singh is a must watch for everyone and war freaks, it is not just a film, it tells about history. Gippy Grewal, has said, “This film is like a dream project for me.
